It wouldn't be a Matt Casazza-led fantasy league without a little tiebreaker-controversy. Jeremy Redfern, a.k.a. Brentmeister General, a.k.a. Urban Achievers, won last year's fantasy football championship with a last-minute missed extra point in the season's final game. That missed chip shot tied he and his opponent at 105 points and Jeremy took the title by virtue of the tiebreaker.
Well, in this inaugural season of The High Hard Ones, Jeremy wins another race by the skin of his teeth. He and Dan, Mr. G the Musical, have been neck and neck in the runs category for the last two weeks. As of Sunday's final game they were tied with 73 total runs. The tiebreaker, as discussed a few months ago, would then be the winner of the next stat-cat, in this case home runs.
Jeremy earns himself $20 with 21 home runs to Dan's 16. Congrats.
