Should Jeremy have kept Pelfrey in?

As of the start of Sunday night's Mets/Braves game, Jeremy obviously can't beat me in wins or losses.  We're deadlocked in saves and he's guaranteed to take the strikeouts.  He's got a .29 lead in ERA and has me by .34 WHIP points.  He chose to start Mike Pelfrey, even though it really can't do him any good.  The Brentmeister can't win any more stats, but he can lose some.  Pelf's riding a 3-0 record and hasn't allowed a run in the last 17 innings.  Will it backfire?
