House of Pizza Earns $20, beats Master in a Tie-Breaker

DANBURY (AP)-For the second straight week a tie-breaker was needed to determine who would win the $20 stat-cat contest.
Jim Casazza and Stephen Malone, both of Danbury, tied with 24 home runs at the end of the April 18-May 2 contest.  As per league bylaws the winner was then determined by the team with the most RBI's, as it is the next offensive category.  Jim soundly defeated Stephen, 83-64.
Casazza was aided by strong home run-efforts from Paul Konerko (7), Kelly Johnson (6) and Mark Reynolds (5).  Albeit for a losing cause, Masterbation Station appreciated the efforts of Josh Hamilton and Alfonso Soriano (4).
With his 24 home runs over the last fortnight, Steve jumps from last place to a 3-way tie for fourth with 32 total home runs.  Jim leads the league with 38, followed by Crop Dusters (36) and Brentmeister (33).
This weeks category: RBI.  As mentioned House of Pizza recorded 83 RBI over the last two weeks to lead the league.  He is followed by Face on Balls with 69, Masterbation with 64 and Bx Bomber, Mr. G and Monstah of Beantown (62).
