Brentmeister Takes Over TSH
DANBURY-Steve Malone's hot streak continues. His Week 14 win over Bloop Chutes, 9-2, his him at 56-23 since he last lost in Week 7. His hilariously-misspelled team now has the league's best record, 90-70-8, and has knocked Mr. G out of the division-lead for the first time in an eternity.
Capping off Steve's remarkable run is his performance in the latest Stat-Cat Contest. He managed only 2 losses over the last two weeks, narrowly edging out Bloop Chutes and Bolas with 3. It's his first $20 win of the year and comes just days after he exclaimed: "I never come close to winning any of these stupid categories."
In other news, Brentmeister has, for reasons I can't comprehend, moved into first place in The Switch Hitters. If you check the Team Stats you'll see that Jeremy leads the league only in stolen bases (yawn) and has a pretty lackluster team otherwise. But, he has managed to win the majority of the categories each week, going 72-41 (9-1 overall) since Week 4. In that time he has scored less than 7 points in a victory only once.
