Say "Goodbye" To The Can't Cut List

I recently turned off the "Can't Cut List" feature, allowing owners to drop any player they want, at anytime, regardless of that player's performance.  There are those of you out there who said this was a self-serving move, that I did it just to benefit myself.

You're right.

But the whole thing was kinda lame anyway.  I get the concept; Yahoo! is trying to prevent owners from fucking with the league and dropping A-list players into the waiver pool just 'cause their team sucks.  But I think the thing is kinda flawed.  What about the guy who they thought would have a good year but just isn't?  Yahoo! says:

"If an underachieving player remains on the list, it is because the league office feels his long-term value exceeds that of any player who might be available on the free agents list."

Whatever.  I don't see how they could possibly say that any one the available 2B has less value than Dan Uggla, my 3rd-rd pick.  The guy's batting .185 with 40 k's and I'm stuck with him?  Fuck that.  Yahoo! has him as the 16th available 2B and the 664th player overall.

So, feel free to drop whomever, whenever.
